For years there has been controversy about the usefulness of high doses of vitamin C in cancer therapy. 
Recent studies on the pharmacological properties of vitamin C have now reawakened interest in vitamin C as an aid in cancer medicine.
The authors call for larger clinical studies to verify the positive effects.
